Looking for a slightly older dog? Meet Max, who is a 9 year old, happy go-lucky yellow neutered male! He is up to date on his shots, heartworm negative, is good with other dogs and is approved for kids aged 10 and up. He weighs 78 lbs.
Max is crate trained as well as 110% house trained. He’ll even let you know when he needs to step out for a moment!

Max loves to play with tennis balls and other toys and is actually Deputy in Charge of Destuffing Toys, and he is quite accomplished at his foster home. He loves swimming and will retrieve in water. He loves going for a ride and prefers fresh air- not air conditioning.

He knows basic commands, sit and down, stay and give/leave it command when you need to take a toy from him! He likes to go for walks but prefers short ones and does well on a leash- like a dream dog.

He has a handsome smile and loves to flash it often as he loves nothing more than being next to his human having his belly or ears rubbed and told he's a good boy.

Whoever adopts Max will be getting a great dog, but they must be willing to help him adjust to his new life. He has gone through a lot of change and just needs time to get acclimated to his new surroundings and lifestyle.

Interesting in checking Max out? Visit Lab Rescue of the L.R.C.P. for more information.
