National Adopt a Shelter Dog Month- PetConnect Rescue

WOOF!!  October is National Adopt A Shelter Dog Month!  Throughout the month, I will be sharing with you a few stories about humans adopting dogs and the bond of companionship they enjoy.  Also, on Saturdays I'll feature a local Rescue or Shelter organization where you can find your "Forever Friend."

PetConnect Rescue found me in North Carolina, brought me to Maryland and I ended up at a "Forever Home" in Virginia.  My humans are the greatest and they know I am too!!

PetConnect Rescue is a non-profit 501(c)(3) animal rescue organization. The rescue is dedicated to helping animals in need. They save dogs and cats from euthanasia, from the high kill shelters to foster homes to caring adoptive families, PetConnect handles every step of the rescue process! PetConnect Rescue provides their rescues with medical attention and a safe place to stay while they await adoption. While in their care, they carefully evaluate these animals, which helps to ensure a successful placement for them.

PetConnect Rescue's goal is to make the adoption process a kind, informed and rewarding experience because they believe every animal can become a treasured family pet.
