Friday's Friend - Dog Adoption, Washington Humane Society

Hope you had a barkingly pawtastic Christmas!!  And, Santa Paws was really good to you!!  Mine was great as I got to spend time with my humans and the grandhumans!

I have two dog friends from the Washington Humane Society to introduce to you today- they are both looking for their "Forever Homes!"

Meet Taz- a calm, sweet, 8 year-old lady who lost her home when an apartment landlord changed the pet rules!

Taz has a gentle nature and is looking for a new best friend and a "Forever Home" that will barkingly enjoy her and she can relax and enjoy life.  A quiet home with a family would be the perfect fit!

Taz is a medium size German Shepherd mix.

Want to meet Taz, please contact, the
New York Avenue Adoption Center,
1201 New York Avenue, NE, Washington, D.C., 202-576-6664.

My next dog adoption friend for you to meet from the Washington Humane Society is another lady.  Her name is Loretta Lynn.....

One of the sweetest girls you'll meet, Loretta Lynn is a 3 year-old Terrier/Pit mix weighing about 45 lbs..

She loves naps, chewing on rawhide, and cuddling up to her human friends on the couch. Loretta has a mellow temperament, which has made her a staff favorite, is very laid back and would do best in a calm home where she is your number one pooch.

Does she sound like your new best friend?  If so, please Contact Loretta Lynn’s Foster mom, Ann, at ann@mccordandco.com to meet her!
