This guy sure is Happy- look at him smiling- after being rescued by Operation Paws for Homes from a rural high kill shelter, his days being numbered, he's looking for his "Forever Home."

Happy is a Chihuahua/Dachshund mix, a handsome, adorable, little young man who weighs 10 lbs. with a sweet disposition.  He is neutered, current on his shots, gets along great with other dogs and children.  He's crate trained and almost house trained!

This guy will run up for a few pets, run around a bit, and then come back for more loving- he lives up to his name! WOOF!!!!  Barking of which, he does bark when nervous, so he'll need a gentle patient human to teach him the world is kind. Once he's comfortable, he will wag his tail the second you look at him!

Happy is being fostered in King William, VA.

If you would like more information, please contact Operation Paws for Homes.
