Friday's Friend: Dog Adoption, PetConnect Rescue

"Lefty"

I love it when I get to meet puppies and introduce them as my friends for you to meet- it reminds me of my childhood- the days of playing, romping free through the fields, rolling around the yard, playing with humans who knew that I was the cutest puppy in the entire universe- those were the days- though as an adult I do have it really good.

My dog friends at PetConnect Rescue introduced me to a young lady named Lefty who is one of a litter of nine pups we are calling the "baseball bunch".

Lefty and her littermates, are cool shepherd/boxer/lab mix pups, who recently arrived to town with their mama, Coach! The family was found in the rural south, but are now safe in foster care, awaiting their forever home.

As of April 28m 2014, the pups are only 6 1/2 weeks old and cannot go to their forever homes until they are 8 weeks old, which will be on May 10, 2014. Applications are currently being accepted for their adoption. WOOF!!! Is this lady adorable or what!?

The pups will need to be adopted by someone who is home a good part of the day so you can help them work on house training and social skills!

All of the pups are up-to-date on age appropriate vaccines and will need to be spayed/neutered when they are old enough.
