Friday's Friend: Dog Adoption, Lab Rescue of L.R.C.P., Inc.

WOOF!!! Happy FRIDAY!!!! WOOF!!!!!! Am pawing that you had a barkingly grand week! I have had a pawsome one!

My friend "Lab Lady" came by to visit this week with her friend "Bubbles!" A fun-loving 2 year old, 50 lbs., female Black Labrador Retriever, she is looking for her "Forever Home!"

Bubbles is super sweet girl who has tons of doggie love to share with a human. She would like a family that is patient and understanding of her need to go slow with new people and places. She will likely bond with the women of the

household first.  She prefers human attention and petting over treats or anything else.  She is in need of TLC so she's a bit shy at first, but warms up and bonds quickly.  A gentle touch, some love, and a tennis ball, you'll win her heart and you'll have a wonderful companion. 

Bubbles will need to go to a home with a solid fenced-in yard as she loves to play in the yard, chasing every tennis ball thrown, sometimes hoarding them in a pile.  WOOF!!

Bubbles is great around other dogs, even doing a little "dance" to get them to play!  She has no history of experience with cats.  She's recommended for children ages 10 or older. 

Though she is crated trained, and will go in it, she doesn't enjoy it and will whine to be let out.  With that, she's looking for humans who will be home more than not.  She'll sleep in her human's bed, if allowed, but will go to her own pillow if you ask her!! 

While Bubbles loves to romp and play in the fenced yard, she isn't crazy energetic for her age.  She enjoys a bit of fetch or maybe a walk, and then she'll be ready for a nap.
