Friday's Friend: Dog Adoption, Lab Rescue of L.R.C.P., Inc.

Happy Friday!  WOOF!!

And, "Hello, Lab Lady! Who have you brought with you this week?"

"Rain."

"Uh, well, it's better than ice and snow!, right?"

"No, this is Rain!"

"I don't see any Rain?  Is it supposed to Rain today?"

"No, no, no, Noah- this beautiful girl is named Rain!"

"Oh. arf. excuse me."

Please meet Rain, an 18 month old, 40 lbs., Yellow Labrador Retriever. She is looking for her "Forever Home!"

"Rain"
(C) Lab Rescue of L.R.C.P., Inc.
Rain has lived in the country with limited exposure to city noises, traffic, and groups of people. A perfect home for her will be in a quiet neighborhood with a solid fence. Barkingly, she needs to go to a home with another dog.

Rain  is a smaller lab who is friendly, silly, fun-loving, and though a bit shy at first, is a loving dog once she gets to know you! She likes to be petted and brushed. She takes treats very gently.

She prefers to take a slow approach in meeting new humans and checking out new places. She will need a family that is patient and understands that she is just learning to trust. Common household movements and noises are not scary to her.

Rain loves playing outside and will do a full body play bow to engage. It is hilarious because she looks around as if to say "can you see me cause I'm gonna pounce." What a silly girl! Watch her play here: "Rain!".

Rain is learning some basic commands and is catching on quickly.  She does well on the leash, pulls some, but with work, she'll be great.

She has no experience with children, so she is approved for children ages 10 and older.  She has no known experience with cats.
