WOOF!!! Happy weekend! Barkingly pawsome are my friends at Operation Paws for Homes who have brought me an international traveler for you to meet this week!

This guy has traveled across the universe to meet you- from the island of Turks and Caicos. Potcake Dale.

Meet Dale, a sweet, out-going, 1 1/2 yrs old, 46lbs., very playful friend who is looking for his forever home!!

This guy has a good bit of energy and will need a family who can play or exercise will be a great fit.
He will enjoy curling up on the couch with you after a nice long walk.

Dale spent his first few weeks in the U.S.A. at a doggie daycare and would do well in a home with or without another dog(s).

Barkingly what's a Potcake? I thought it meant the dog would be bringing me cake, but according to my human friend at Operation Paws for Homes, "A Potcake is a mixed-breed dog type from the Turks and Caicos Islands.

Yes - an island pup! Many of the dogs from these islands face a hard life of scrambling to find food and wondering the streets. When visiting the island - you
would see these dogs were everywhere. Adorable mixes of Shepherd, Hound, Lab and various other breeds from the UK. Fortunate for some of the dogs on the islands, there is a wonderful organization at the TCSPCA who works with rescue organizations to change the fate of these dogs and send them to the states to find homes.

Potcake Dale is up to date with all shots, and neutered.
