Friday's Friend! Dog Adoption, Lab Rescue of L.R.C.P., Inc.

I had a pawsome discussion this last week with "Lab Lady" about senior dogs.  WOOFs!

Barkingly, Lab Rescue is bursting at the seams with pawsome, mature, loving dogs between the ages 8 - 12 years old!  Oops- guess that makes me a senior fella too!   The rescue has 15 senior Labs who would love to find their "Forever Homes."

Why should humans adopt a senior dog?  There are barkingly tons of reasons which include, but are not limited to, senior dogs love naps and cuddling, senior dogs have tons of love and snuggles and happy tails to share with humans, senior dogs have learned that bones or toys are for chewing- not your shoes, senior dogs make pawnderful companions, most senior dogs are house trained, and these barkingly pawsome senior dogs are often overlooked for puppies or younger dogs, yet they still have a lot to give.

BARKS! I'd like you to meet Jackson!  He is a 9-year-old Yellow Labrador Retriever who loves to be with his humans.  He is looking for a "Forever Home" where his human would be home more often than not.  WOOFs!

He gets along with other dogs but not cats - uh, no, cats in his new home!  WOOF!

Jackson has pawcellent house manners and does not need to be crated.

Jackson is a handsome gentleman who loves to play fetch and is looking for a pawsome family who will shower him with love!
