WOOF!!!  My friend "Lab Lady" has been having quite a bit of fun with this fella, Sequoia.  He is a 10-year-old Black Labrador Retriever who is active for his age and looks, to me, like he'd make a pawsome dog for an active family!

Sequoia is looking for a "Forever Home" in a rural or suburban area in a single-family home with a fence.  He isn't used to the noise, traffic or craziness you find in the city.  Dogs can be overwhelmed in their environment and become barkers or mischievous so he's trying to prevent these issues!  WOOF!!

Sequoia like to be petted and make every human he meets his friend!  He loves retrieving and playing in the backyard with a ball.  He know his basic commands like "sit," "down," and "come."  He tends to pull a bit when on a leash at first, but does well with an "Easy Walk Harness."

Sequoia has pawcellent house manners- he's house and crate trained! BARKS!!!

Watch his pawsome video at:Sequoia!

Sequoia lost his home when his older owner died who had Sequoia and 2 small breed pups. His human family members found homes for the smaller dogs but had no luck finding him a home probably because of his age, so they turned him into the shelter.

Sequoia is good with other dogs and has lived with 2 smaller breeds!  He has hung out with several at the kennel.  He has no cat history.   He is recommended for mini-humans 9 years old and over.

If you would like to meet Sequoia and learn about dog adoption, please complete the Lab Rescue Dog Adoption Application.  BARKS!!  Tell them Noah sent you!
