Friday's Friend! Dog Adoption, Lab Rescue of L.R.C.P., Inc.

Barks! You know it would not be Friday without a visit from "Lab Lady!" She surprised me this week with a pawsome fella who isn't a Black Labrador Retriever but a Fox Red Labrador Retriever!  Meet McGregor- quite the handsome fella!

WOOF! McGregor is looking for his "Forever Home" and humans to love in a rural or quiet suburban setting single-family home with a physically secure 6 foot fence!  Barks, an adult household would likely be best!

When he first arrived to Lab Rescue and his foster's home, he was a bit shy but quickly overcame it when he engaged in play other dogs!  He is learning to trust humans but it's taken a bit longer.  Barkingly, he does enjoy pets behind the ears! 

McGregor would like to go to a home with a confident dog which will help him learn the ropes of being a dog and being good at it!  WOOF!!!  And learning more about trusting his new humans! 

Barkingly, he will warm up in his own time. Humans just need to let him be for a bit so that he can figure out that you are okay. WOOF!

McGregor is pawcellent in the crate and goes right in. Currently, he spends the night on a dog bed in his foster Mom's room and is very happy!

He is still learning about toys and balls and chasing the balls when thrown. It will probably only be a matter of time before he learns to play fetch!

McGregor loves to being outside and playing. He is learning though that the inside has advantages too like treats which he takes gently and air-conditioning!

He is a calm fella for a 1-year-old and pawsomely behaved in the house for his age!
