Friday's Friend! Cat Adoption! PetConnect Rescue

WOOF! er, MEOW! What a hot weather week this has been! My human has taken to walking me earlier in the day to avoid the excessive heat which, for most dogs and cats, began as early as 8 a.m. yesterday and will do the same today.  Remember, your dog and cat have fur coats on when they go out- don't let them out for long.  Be sure they have plenty of water to drink and some shady areas to hang out.

If you are looking for a furry companion to love on, but don't want all the work associated with adopting a dog, consider adopting a cat, or in the case of "Cat Lady's" visit with me this week, two sweet kitties- Carolina and Isabella-

Carolina is a pawsome sweet and most playful girl!  She and her two sisters came to the USA from Puerto Rico to find humans to love and a "Forever Home!"

Carolina enjoys playing with her sisters, cuddling and stretching out for a nice nap in the sun!

Do you enjoy soccer?  Carolina is a pawsome soccer player who likes to hide and jump out surprising her sisters!

Caroline would do best in a home with a playmate or with one of her sisters!

Carolina's sister Isabella is looking for humans to love and a "Forever Home" too.

Isabella is a sweet and playful kitty too who enjoys cuddling, sitting on her foster mom's foot while dinner is being prepared and playing soccer with her sister Carolina! She enjoys playing with a wand toy all over the place!

Isabella would do best in a home with a playmate or with one of her sisters!

Carolina and Isabella are healthy kittens and current on vaccinations.

A paw from PetConnect Rescue! The adoption fee for a kitten is $135, which helps with the cost of routine vet care. The fee DOES NOT INCLUDE spay/neuter if the kitten is not already spayed/neutered. If the animal you are adopting is not already spayed/neutered, you will be required to sign a contract legally obligating you to have the animal altered. A $100 spay/neuter deposit to help ensure that the procedure gets done in a timely manner!

Cats adopted through PetConnect Rescue must be indoor only, and may not be declawed (unless already declawed at the time of rescue).

Please note the first step in approving adoption applicants is to complete a Veterinarian check! Vetting of current and past pets is very important to PetConnect Rescue so they will be speaking with the vet(s) listed on your application to ensure that your current and previous pet(s) are kept up to date on vaccines (including rabies), spayed or neutered and examined annually by your vet.***

If you would like to apply to adopt Carolina and Isabella, or both, please complete the PetConnect Rescue Adoption Application. Once submitted, an Adoption Coordinator will contact you.
