Friday's Friend! Dog Adoption, Operation Paws for Homes

"Elska!"
(C) Operation Paws for Homes
WOOF! What a happy face to meet on a Friday!  She is one friendly gal who LOVES meeting new humans!  Elska is a pawsomely beautiful 2-year-old Labrador mix! A pawfect age to teach some new skills too! WOOF!  She is smart and is learning leash training and basic commands.

If you are looking for a pawsome dog to go on adventures with, Elska is your gal! She loves going on car rides, hops right in and makes herself to be outdoors! She would be an excellent addition to an active family!
Elska is crate trained, she goes in a night and some throughout the day.

A loving, super-friendly gal, Elska is very dedicated to her human.  Barkingly, she is good with the entire family as she has lived with 3 mini-humans as young as 7-years-old. She loves to be loved- always enjoying a hug or pet- making your "every day" special!

Elska is dog-friendly, she is fostered with 2 other dogs.

A BARK from my friends at Operation Paws for Homes! Elska tested positive for heartworm disease before arriving at the rescue. Heartworm disease is transmitted to a dog through a bite from an infected mosquito producing a positive test in six months. Operation Paws for Homes will treat the dog and provide two weeks’ recovery time prior to adoption. Potential adopters will receive detailed information on the disease and their role in completing the recovery process from Operation Paws for Homes Heartworm Coordinator. With monthly preventatives, the disease is completely preventable. Read about heartworm disease here: Heartworm Society, Pet Owner Resources - Heartworm Basics!
