Friday's Friend! Dog Adoption, Operation Paws for Homes

HAPPY FRIDAY!!! WOOF!! AND, a 3-day-weekend at that! Hope you have some pawsome plans with your family and friends. It could be even better if you adopted a dog to add to your family.  For me, I am an important part of my human's life. He always says I add some fun and adventure to the family.

My friend "Miss Lisa" from Operation Paws for Homes brought by a friend for you to meet this week, Meet Jazz!

"Jazz"

Jazz is a most beautiful female Coonhound/German Shepherd Mix at 4-years-old.

Jazz loves having her back and belly scratched, lounging outside taking in the scenery, and going on walks/runs and hikes! She will do best with room to romp and play.

Jazz knows a few pawsome tricks that she will show off for you with a treats reward which she will guard.

Jazz is house and crate trained.

Jazz knows basic commands, "sit," "lay," "shake," "come," and "stay." Barkingly, she can use some positive training for more commands and guarding her food. A home with structure, consistent training as well as focused socialization will be a great benefit to her. She is looking to be the best family member she can be - with the help of a firm leader with experience and patience!

She loves playing with her foster's dogs, a Hound Mix and a Beagle.  A slow introduction to meeting 4-legged friends will be best.

She is looking for a home without cats as she does give them a good chase.  She would do best in a home with a submissive dog and older, respectful mini-humans.

Jazz is up-to-date with shots, spayed, and microchipped.  She is ready to go home with the pawfect family for her.

Here are two videos of Jazz with her friends, OPH-Jazz 1 and OPH Jazz 2.
