Friday's Friend! Dog Adoption, Lab Rescue of L.R.C.P., Inc.

WOOF! Every once in a while, super-cuteness-adorable-overload happens! What? No, am not referring to me, this time anyway, but the puppies that my new friend at Lab Rescue!

"Miss Puppy Mom" shares with me, "Pretty Girl came into Lab Rescue from a shelter in NC we worked with in early September she was very pregnant. We took her to the vet who took x-rays and found out she had at least 7 pups and was probably due in a couple of weeks. She surprised us a couple of days later by going into labor and having 9 puppies on the 9th of September! Five of Pretty Girl’s puppies were adopted and we have 4 left they are all males. They have gained weight and are being fed 3 puppy chow 3 times a day. They are 90% housetrained and use the dog door to go outside to the puppy yard do their business. Have taken new pictures for each pup."

The boys are Chocolate males, Polaris, Canopus, Rigel and Pollux! Watch them on their video,  them at: Lab Rescue Pups!. Stay tuned for the second video! WOOF!!

The pups are healthy, have been examined by a Lab Rescue Veterinarian, have been dewormed and up-to-date on their vaccinations and preventatives! Once they are adopted, Pretty Girl will be looking for her "forever Home!"

A few notes from our friends at Lab Rescue: The puppy adoption fee is $350 and there is a spay/neuter deposit of $50 which is refundable when a pup is spayed/neutered. A contract with a training addendum and spay/neuter addendum will be completed before a puppy heads home. Must get vaccinations in accordance with the Lab Rescue Puppy Protocol and other care as recommended by their vet. Go to a formal training program when the puppy is six months old in addition to in-home training efforts.
