Friday's Friend! Mid-Atlantic Great Dane Rescue League

Happy Friday! WOOF! I am pawsitively thrilled it's Friday again! And, to top it off, I got to visit with my pawsome friend "Great Dane Dame" from the Mid-Atlantic Great Dane Rescue! WOOF! She has been a busy as usual, which is a good thing, except I missed pawing, barking and woofing with her. She brought by a pawsome friend for you to meet this week, meet Scooby!

Scooby is one handsome and healthy fella! He is a 2-year-old Harlequin Great Dane! He is a gentle guy and a velcro Dane always wanting to be at your side!

Scooby enjoys playing tug-of-war, fetch, and chewing on bones. He loves to run around the backyard and gets very excited to go for walks! Barkingly, he loves to be outside! WOOF! BARK!

Paws, he knows some basic commands, "sit," "come," and is working on "stay!" He is learning crate skills. Barks, he has only stayed in the crate for 15 minutes but he's working on increasing it. WOOF!

Scooby takes a bit longer to warm up to men. Barkingly, since his foster dad works from home, Scooby quickly decided he is his favorite person! He does fine with women. His foster parents are working on his "human" skills. 

Scooby seems to get along well with other dogs. He is living with his foster family's dog and he wags his tail every time he sees another dog.

Bark, he suffers from separation anxiety. He does whine to tell his humans he's feeling anxious! His foster family tries to redirect his attention.

Barkingly paws, Scooby will do best in a home with a human who is home most of the dog, another confident dog and a large yard where he can play! WOOF!
