Friday's Friend! Dog Adoption, Mid-Atlantic Great Dane Rescue League

WOOF! Meet my friend Scooby! This guys name reminds my human of a favorite cartoon when he was a young sprat. Scooby-dooby-do! Barkingly, I was quite surprised to learn television was around when he was young. I thought radio was new. BARKS!

Woof, my friend the "Great Dane Dame" of the Mid-Atlantic Great Dane Rescue League brought Scooby by for you to meet! He is a 2-year-old handsome and healthy Piebald Great Dane! He's one handsome fella! He is a gentle fella and pawsitively a velcro Dane who wants to constantly be by his humans side. WOOF!!

Scooby loves being outside! He loves to run around the barkyard and gets excited to go for walks. Barkingly, he loves playing tug-of-war, fetch and chewing on bones. Barks! Woofs, he loves to dump all of his toys from his toy box to play with each one!

Scooby lives with another dog and gets along well. He wags his tail whenever he sees another dogs and gets excited to meet them on his walks. He would another dog in his "Forever Home" for companionship though it is not required. WOOF!

Scooby knows some basic commands like "sit," "come," and is working on getting comfortable in his crate. Paws, though he does well loose in his foster's home!

Scooby does have issues with separation anxiety. Barkingly, his foster has been able to direct his attention away by using one of his toys! He warms up to female humans quickly but is a little slower with male humans. Paws, he likes to follow his foster Dad throughout the house.

Scooby doesn't bark much. Paws, due to his anxiety he whines to tell his humans know he's feeling anxious!

According to his foster mom, "Scooby is a sweet and playful guy with a heart as big as a whale.  He’s a pup that just wants you to be his friend.  An amazing dog." Woofs!
