OPERATION PAWS FOR HOMES
AND HYDRODOG PRESENT A DAY OF SIPPING WINES WITH ADOPTABLE CANINES AT BARREL OAK WINERY ON SATURDAY, AUGUST 11!

HydroDog is holding its first "Bathe to Save" event in Virginia with their mobile Big Blue Dog grooming van to pamper attendees’ personal pups and promote animal adoption

– Meet, greet and fall in love with adoptable OPH Rescue dogs in search of their forever home

WOOF! My pawsome friends at Operation Paws for Homes (OPH Rescue) are partnering with HydroDog to host a "Bathe to Save" event at Barrel Oak Winery in Delaplane, Virginia on Saturday, August 11 from 11a.m. - 4 p.m.

Barks, along with meeting some pawsomely adorable OPH Rescue dogs, attendees will enjoy scenic views and award-winning wines while their own pooches are being pampered in HydroDog’s mobile Big Blue Dog grooming van!

WOOF! All proceeds raised by HydroDog’s dog washing service at this event will be donated to OPH Rescue.

Catering to all breeds and sizes of dogs, HydroDog’s "Bathe to Save" events are focused on partnering with animal rescue groups/organizations and businesses (especially pet-centric) across the U.S. not only to raise awareness of the benefits of animal adoption but to help raise money for animal rescues and ultimately save the lives of dogs.

Barrel Oak Winery is a dog-friendly favorite for D.C.-area wine and beer enthusiasts, growing and producing quality red and white wines in a comfortable environment that can be enjoyed by guests and friends alike. In addition to their wine selection, Barrel Oak Winery is also home to the Barrel Oak Farm Taphouse brewery that features award-winning beers.

ABOUT OPERATION PAWS FOR HOMES:
Operation Paws for Homes is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization devoted to the rescue, rehabilitation, and placement of dogs. Dogs are rescued from rural, overcrowded shelters in South Carolina, North Carolina, and southern Virginia. These shelters are faced with daily and constant challenges - few adopters, underdeveloped spay/neuter programs in their counties and, in many instances, a lack of public education around spay/neuter programs. With limited resources, the shelters are forced to put down 50% to 90% of their dogs without rescue intervention.

Volunteer-powered by a dedicated group of animal lovers, OPH Rescue provides a holistic model to rescue, providing services such as education and outreach, professional dog training, counseling and medical assistance. Additionally, they partner with organizations who train their rescued dogs to become service, police and working dogs, such as mine detection and bomb-sniffing dogs.
