Why is Patton so happy? Barks, he was evacuated from a shelter located in the path of Hurricane Florence. He had been waiting a while for humans to come get him but they didn't. When PetConnect Rescue volunteers came to rescue dogs and cats who had been waiting a while at various shelters and take them to find humans to love and "Forever Homes," he got to go! So he put on a fiesta hat to celebrate! WOOF!
Barks, Patton is a most handsome 2-year-old Lab/Shepherd mix! He is full of playful energy so he would love an active family which will take him on hikes and long walks! If you are looking for a dog to take on adventures, he might be the one.

Patton is good with other dogs and respects the senior dog in his foster's home!
Patton is good in his crate and is working on pawfecting his house-training skills!
Barks, pawlease note, the animals arriving at PetConnect Rescue as a result of the hurricane were at the shelter prior to the storm! PetConnect Rescue, along with other rescues, were attempting to clear the shelters to make room for animals who are abandoned or displaced by the storm.
