WOOF! Barks, meet my friend Nubbs from Operation Paws for Homes! She is a 3-year-old sweet, loyal, and smart young girl. She is believed to be a Retriever/Australian Shepherd Mix. As an "Aussie" she is true to her breed and is loyal, protective, and has a herding mentality. She will need an adopter who can be her "rock" and understand her quirky but loving personality!

Nubbs would love a home of her own with a backyard! She likes to shadow her human! She likes to go for car rides and loves going wherever you go!

Nubbs is crate trained and has good house manners. She comes to you when called, enjoys playing ball, and knows some basic commands! She wants to pawlease her humans.

Nubbs is picky about her dog friends but can make select dog friends over time. She hasn't shown any tendency to chase her foster's cat so it's pawssible she might coexist with a cat. She will do best with adults or older mini-humans.

Nubbs' Aussie herding trait makes her likely to be great at agility or having a job to help boost her confidence, provide exercise, and gain her respect and trust.

If you would like to learn more about dog adoption, pawlease visit the Operation Paws for Homes Dog Adoption Guide.
