Dog Foster Humans Wanted!

WOOF! WOOF! WOOF! After pawing and barking with my pawsome friend the "Great Dane Dame" from the Mid-Atlantic Great Dane Rescue League, I learned that many rescues are having to put a "hold" on taking in new dogs to help find their "Forever Homes" and humans to love! WOOF! WOOF! Barkingly, the shelters are close, if not already, full!

That's really a shame because I love my humans and my "Forever Home" and I am forever grateful for the love and care my foster gave me when I was rescued. WOOF! Barks.

Being a foster is much like having your own dog. You care for the dog like it's your own. You train him. You teach him how to live in a home if he hasn't had the training. You teach him how to let you know when he needs outside to do his business. You evaluate him to learn if he is good around other dogs. Bark, you learn about how he is around cats. Paws, you learn if the dog is good with mini-humans! Barks.

The cool thing about being a foster is you can meet pawlenty of dogs and help them to find humans to love them and their "Forever Homes!" Barkingly, another nice thing is when you travel or have something to come up, you can get one of the fosters within the rescue to help out and care for your dog for you! It's really win-win.

Barks, to learn more about fostering, please visit these rescues and inquire.
