Paws, Digger is the most pawfectly pawsome dog! He loves giving kisses, is calm and easy-going and his tail wags all the time! (C) Allen Pearson Photography

"HISS! HISS! Meows! Oh my catnips! What in cat sakes have I gotten myself into? A selfie? With a human? How vain can a human get!? Well, you know what it is- he really wants to make himself look so much better by being seen with a cat- more specifically, me. ME! Samson- only the mostest bestest cat in the universe!

"Purrs! I guess I can help him improve his image- I mean, after all, he did allow me to come into their home and live with them- of course, I only made it better by being here. Meows!"

WOOF! WOOF! I pawleased to introduce to you my pretty friend Harmony from the Mid-Atlantic Great Dane Rescue League!

Barks, Harmony is a 7-year-old female Fawn Great Dane and right pretty I'd say! WOOF! She is on the petite side but pawsomely cute too!

Harmony is house-broken and can be completely trusted in the house! She is a pawsomely well-mannered too! She has been known to bat her eyes and beg for some human food.

Harmony has been through basic obedience training and attends doggie daycare. She loves going for walks and hikes with her humans! An occasional time of zoomies in the yard is a favorite thing too!

Harmony is a very loving and affectionate girl. She is a true "Velcro Dane" too.

While Harmony lives with young mini-humans, she isn't fond of the mini-humans who come to visit raising the activity and noise level. This seems to be too much for her! WOOF! She is recommended for a home without young mini-humans. Ages 12 and older would be best.

Harmony does well with other dogs. Barkingly, she does not want a home with cats.

WOOF! If you would like to learn more about Great Dane adoption, meet or apply to adopt Harmony, pawlease visit the Mid-Atlantic Great Dane Rescue League Adoption Procedures

Dog

Barks, Bentley is a very loving fella and a cuddle bug! He's a happy, silly boy who loves humans! He gets along great with his foster human's two small dogs! He's not an alpha dog so he lets others go first, then takes his turn.

Bentley, barks, doesn't have a food or toy guarding issues.

Woof! Bentley pawsitively loves to sleep right next to his human so he can keep them warm on those chilly nights. Barkingly, he must be under the covers- always!

Paws, Bentley is great walking on a leash! He loves running around the backyard, playing fetch, and loves his toys.

Bentley greets new humans coming into the house with a "bark" but wags his tail to mean he's happy to the see the visitors. He will lick visitor's hands, wag his tail, and bark again- as he's learning no one wish him harm!

Bentley gets along with the young mini-humans who take piano lessons from his foster human.

WOOF! My pawsome friend "Miss Sherry" from the Advocates for Abused and Abandoned Pets (A3P) has brought by a really cool Rottweiler who is currently staying at the Prince William County Animal Shelter! Meet Zyi!

Zyi is around 3-years-old and a beautiful girl. She has been in the shelter for too long and needs to find a loving human(s) to adopt her! Zyi has the typical Rottweiler traits of loyalty and cuddly.
Dog

Zyi needs someone to adopt, or pawssibly foster, her so she can receive medical attention for severe hip dysplasia. Her hips are causing her pain and the area is tender making it hard for her to find true comfort.

She has been confined to the shelter for too long and is pawing to find a human with a "Forever Home" and a yard to romp and give herself pawlenty of exercise. Barkingly, and to provide needed medical attention and place her on a diet to relieve some of her pain.

She just needs some good ol' down home lovin'!

Zyi will do best in a home without cats and older mini-humans.  She is dog selective so a meet and greet with the resident dogs are required.

If you would like to learn more about Zyi, dog adoption, or apply to adopt her, pawlease contact
Advocates for Abused and Abandoned Pets (A3P), www.a3padvocates.org, (571) 408-0381, a3p.petlovers@gmail.com. Barkingly, you could contact the Prince William County Animal Shelter too.

WOOF! Barks, my pawsome friend "Lab Lady" from Lab Rescue came by this week with an adorable young lady for you to meet! She is a 6-1/2-month-old Yellow Labrador Retriever named Piper! She is pawssibly one of the sweetest little dogs you'll ever meet, full of kisses for humans.

Paws, Piper is looking for a "Forever Home" in a single-family house located in a rural or suburban setting. She wants a physically fenced yard too! Barks! Since she is so young, she will have a training addendum with her adoption so she can be-the-bestest dog she can be!

Piper loves having two other dogs in his foster home to play with! Barks, she loved having two other visit last weekend too! She is excellent with other dogs. She occasionally needs to do a few zoomies around the yard chasing humans or other dogs or random leaves.
Dog

Piper loves humans too! She enjoys hanging out with her foster's pre-teen niece and nephew snuggling and playing in the yard. She loves having her long, soft ears petted.

Piper loves playing with her squeaky toys. She will try to de-stuff them if left to her own devices!

Piper doesn't like to be alone so she would appreciate humans home more often than not and must have a break during the day!

She is a very curious girl and will follow her nose wherever it leads! She should be supervised or crated when she cannot be directly supervised to make sure she is safe.

Piper is epileptic and takes medication to control it. She had initially lost her vision due to seizures but it has mostly returned. Paws, she cannot see pawfectly at night and tends to be a little more cautious!

Piper is good with other dogs but is unknown with cats. She is approved for mini-humans ages 8 and older.

If you would like to learn more about dog adoption, pawlease visit Lab Rescue Adoption Procedures.
