Meow! My pawsome friend "Miss Sherry" from Advocates for Abused and Abandoned Pets (A3P) brought by a sweet tiny friend for you to meet. Pawingly, he is not available for adoption yet but is looking for a foster parent. The foster parent will assist with his care until he is ready to be adopted. Purrs!

Meet Peanut! HISS!He was found as a stray along with his two siblings and mom! Sadly, because they were so young, one of the kittens passed away. Not too long after, it's believed that Momma cat attacked Peanut and his remaining brother, who later passed from his injuries.

HISS! HISS! Paws, Peanut sustained a wound which quickly turned into a nasty abscess.  He was taken the Animal ER where they had to lance and drain his wound.  Purringly, Peanut is recovering nicely but he's still underweight.

Paws, Peanut is the sweetest, most lovable kitten! MEOW! MEOWS! He loves being held, getting tummy rubs and is totally comfortable draped over a forearm or napping in his human's lap!.

Peanut is too young for adoption but he is looking for a foster (and perhaps a foster fail) family or companion to spend time with until he's old enough to be neutered.

If you'd like to foster Peanut, send A3P a message at a3padvocates@gmail.com.

WOOF! It's so barkingly grand to catch up with my friend "Lab Lady!" from Lab Rescue of L.R.C.P., Inc. While I love ALL dogs and most humans I've met, "Lab Lady" is one of the craziest humans, next to my human dad, I've ever met and had the pawleasure to volunteer with. We've been working together for nearly 8 years now! WOOF!

This week, my friend "Lab Lady" brought by a handsome fella named Captian who is looking for his "Forever Home!"

Captain would like a "Forever Home" in a single-family house located in a rural or suburban area. He does not have a fence requirement! WOOF! Barks!

Captain came from a litter with Jax and Red which the previous owner had kept until they realized they could not take care of them! WOOF! Paws, Captain doesn't need to go home with one of his litter buddies but does need a home with another dog since he's always had a canine buddy!

Captain likes going for rides in the car. He will need obedience training and regular exercise. He will make a pawsome companion.

Captain has no history with cats or mini-humans. He is recommended for mini-humans ages 10 and older!

Barks, if you would like to learn more about dog adoption, pawlease visit the Lab Rescue Adoption Guide!

WOOF! Interested in meeting Captain or applying to adopt him? Pawlease complete the Lab Rescue Dog Adoption Application.

Captain needs care while he waits to find his "Forever Home" and humans to love. The care includes everything from routine Veterinary care to food and water to blankets, pillows, a crate and toys. The list could go on! If you would like to sponsor Captain's care, pawlease visit Lab Rescue - Sponsor! After his adoption, any remaining funds will be used to care for other Labrador Retrievers in Lab Rescue's care. WOOF! Barks.

MEOW! I am pawleased to introduce to you a pawsomely beautiful young cat from Homeless Animals Rescue Team (HART) named Lilly Blue Eyes! She is around 1-year-old, a mix breeds, not reclawed. She is NOT friendly with mini-humans nor other cats. It's not known whether she is friendly with dogs.

HISS! The origins of this pawsomely beautiful girl and her newborn kittens are unknown. Purringly, the volunteers at Homeless Animals Rescue Team (HART) rescued them from a rural shelter to help her find humans to love and a "Forever Home!" She had a severe infection which made nursing for her cute kitten challenging! HISS! Paws, she was a pawsome trooper. She is now ready to find a "Forever Home" of her own!
Cat Adoption

Lilly Blue Eyes will thrive best as your one-and-only-cat-that-is! She is a quirky kitty and needs a human who understands cats. She will blossom with someone willing to give her time to settle in and learn that she is finally in a "Forever Home" with a human to love her!

Lilly Blue Eyes has a determined spirit and a fun and playful nature.

WOOF! WOOF! Barkingly grand for you to stop by on this Friday! Happy Friday to you!

Meet my new friend Tango from Operation Paws for Homes! He is around 14-weeks-old and a male Terrier mix! He is looking for humans who will tango with him for the rest of his life! WOOF! BARK!
Dog Adoption

Tango likes to have about 15 minutes of zoomies every day then he's ready to cuddle!

Tango is a smart guy. He is crate- and house-trained. He has started learning how to "sit," "stay," and "lay down!" He wants his new humans to help him to learn more!

He gets along great with other dogs in his foster home and respects those who don't want to play!

Barkingly, he has two mini-humans who visit him on the weekends and enjoys loving on them! They play with him and give him pawlenty of kisses! WOOF! Paws, he is good at making them laugh too.

Arf, his foster mom says Tango brings a smile to her face- even on the worst days!

Barks, he isn't much of a barker at this paw in life even when his foster siblings are chatting with the mailman or a neighbor.

Due to Tango's small size and young age, Operation Paws for Homes recommends he goes to a home with children which are respectful of his size and age. With his age, he will require an adopter who is not out of the home for more than 4 hours at one time to continue his training - no exceptions! Tango is up-to-date on age appropriate vaccines and will need to be altered at the appropriate age per the spay/neuter agreement you will be signing at the time of adoption.

Woof! If you would like to learn more about dog adoption, pawlease visit the Operation Paws for Homes Adoption Guide.

Barkingly, if you would like to meet or apply to adopt Tango, pawlease complete the Operation Paws for Homes Dog Adoption Application.

Unable to adopt? WOOF! How about supporting Tango financially? Donations will assist with his care. Any extra funds will be used to assist other dogs care at Operation Paws for Homes. Interested, please donate HERE!

Paws, Hoss is a handsome BBB (Big Black Blockhead) who knows the bestest thing in his life has been coming to Lab Rescue of the L.R.C.P., Inc.!

Hoss pawsitively LOVES and is happy to be with his humans and thinks his head is to be in your lap getting attention! Barks! He likes to get your attention so you will pet him.

Barks, Hoss has a few physical problems when he came to the rescue. Paws, but he seems to be starting to get better! WOOF!

WOOF! He hasn't retrieved anything yet but goes over and examines the toys you toss. He wants a yard so he can get some exercise and explore!

Hoss will make a wonderful family companion. He is recommended for mini-humans ages 10 and older. He is good with other dogs he's met. He has no cat history but was not interested in the cats at the Veterinarian!

Barkingly, paws, Leo is a most darling longhaired, 2-year-old Chihuahua! He is affectionate but independent too!

He is a typical Chihuahua tending to bond with one human.

WOOF! Leo has had some mistreatment in the past so sometimes he is a little skittish when he things he's in trouble.

Leo will do best in a quiet household with no mini-humans and would like the company of another dog!

Nashville loves to be outside in the backyard where he can enjoy the scenery and neighborhood goings-on!

Nashville is learning to walk on a leash, His foster mom thinks he may not have used one before to walk his human. He does have pawsome manners!

He has gotten along with the large dog in his foster home and just loves the two mini-humans who live there!

Nashville is house- and crate-trained. He will take a nap in his crate but much prefers to spend time with his humans.

Nashville's pawsome-self with make a barkingly grand family pet for the right humans!

Nashville has tested positive for heartworm disease before arriving at Operation Paws for Homes. He has completed his treatment. Heartworm disease is transmitted to a dog through a bite from an infected mosquito producing a positive test in six months. WOOF! BARKS! Meet my new friend Coolio from Operation Paws for Homes! This little fella is one cool dude! He is around 6-years-old and a pocket-size Pomeranian mix!

Coolio is a puppy mill survivor so he is VERY shy! Barks, he has never lived in a house before but is loving it. He is working on learning to live in a house and be a pawsome "house dog" but it is a slow process. Wanna see how he's doing, watch this video! Barks.

Coolio is not house-trained but he's learning how to potty outside. He is crate-trained and seems to find it to be his safe place! He enjoys eating his meals in there too!

WOOF! He is learning to walk on a leash hooked to his collar. In the yard, he loves running around but it seems to be a new experience for him.

Barks, steps seem to be a challenge for Coolio as he's probably never seen them before.
Dog Adoption
Photo: Operation Paws for Homes
Creative: Allen Pearson

Coolio is easily startled by loud noises or sudden moves and tries to get away quickly!

Barks, Coolio would pawssibly do best living with a confident dog who could help him see that the world isn't so scary!

Barkingly, Coolio knows his name and comes when called but will not get very close. He enjoys being talked to and likes to make eye contact with his human. He likes being held and having attention paid to him!

Coolio doesn't play with toys or chew chewy toys as he's probably never been allowed to have them before! He loves getting treats and seems to be food-motivated.

WOOF! Coolio would love a family where his humans are home most of the day. Though he feels safe and happy in his crate, he likes having people to chat with!

He needs a family who will be patient with him as he does not understand anything about being a dog!

Dog AdoptionThis sweet fella was a puppy mill dog and used for breeding Pomeranians.  He has paid the price emotionally. He is not a purse/dog stroller type of dog but is working on it! He has lots of love to give but needs patience and lovin's as he learns about life beyond the life the crate!

Barks, if you would like to learn about dog adoption, pawlease visit Operation Paws for Homes Adoption Guide!

If you would like to meet or apply to adopt Coolio, pawlease complete the Operation Paws for Homes Dog Adoption Application.

WOOF! Barks, do you love dogs, but, for whatever reason, are not able to adopt? Please consider
