Friday's Friend: Dog Adoption, Operation Paws for Homes

Happy Friday!!  Did you black dogs and cats are often overlooked at rescues and shelters? These dogs and cats are often overlooked in favor of lighter color animals.  They often have the longest waits at the rescues and shelters which is really a shame because these guys can be the perfect pet for you- if you take the time to look the personality of the dog first.  I mean, take a look at me- I'm perfect!!!

What got me on this subject is my friends from Operation Paws for Homes who introduced me to one big handsome black dog that would make a great companion and is looking for his "Forever Home!  Meet Sochi!!

What a cool dog!!  Operation Paws for Homes believes he is a 3 year old Dane/lab mix and is a puppy at heart. He loves playing with his foster dog brother and enjoys dogs of all sizes!

Sochi has excellent house manners- is house trained, enjoys the outdoors and is extremely intelligent (WOOF- sounds like me!!), loves and is good with children, extremely loyal and eager to please! He is eager to learn and is working on some basic commands!

He loves playing with his foster doggie brother but is ready to lay down by your feet when it's TV time. He always has a wagging tail and a beautiful smile to match.

He would be the single/couple/family and would benefit best from having a dominate pack leader in his home to facilitate training.

Sochi is up to date on shots, microchipped, and is neutered. He is eager to meet his forever family!

If you would like to meet Sochi and learn more about dog adoption, please contact Operations Paws for Homes!
