"Woofs! Walking my human is one of my mostest favorite moments of my day. We gather our stuff, my walking leash, a few treats, and the ever-always-important poop bags! Dad grabs his cell phone, for emergencies, and we head out!

I love our walks! It's our time! Just me and Dad! Samson- my cat brother isn't around, though great as he is, there are no televisions, computers or other electronic devices, telephones, or email, or whatever else can distract my human's attention from me! He takes his cell phone on our walk, paws, I make him put his cell phone in his pocket- it's our time! No one else's! Nothing else! WOOFs, but for us! I love it! I know my human does too as he's always saying how much he loves our walks! Barks! It's great bonding time for us too! Woofs!

WOOF! Barkingly, we have noticed more and more lately on our walks, many humans have their noses buried in their cell phones or are chatting with someone on a call. Woofsly, their dog is usually not going to be under the control of the human. Woofs, on more than a few occasions the dog will pull their human over to meet me or start barking and out of control-type manner which does initiate responses from dogs like me walking our humans. Arfs, it's very unsafe for the dog too. Since their human is too busy on their cell phone they aren't paying enough attention to their dog to keep it out of trouble- like eating "gifts" left by other dogs, eating trash or food thrown along the path, barking and jumping up on humans or other dogs, jumping in front of bicyclist along the path, and the list could go on and on! Barks, by paying attention during a dog walk, the human can usually prevent most problems before they happen.

Humans! Put away your cell phone for the time it takes to walk your dog and enjoy the moment!
