Barkingly, Seven is around 3-years-old and pawssibly a Hound mix weighing around 44 lbs.  She enjoys walks, mental stimulation, and pawlaytime! She has the typical young dog energy level enjoying being active. Click here to see the videos she created to help get adopted.

Woofs, when Seven first arrived at OPH, she needed to learn some manners so she was enrolled in a pawsome training program called Happy Hounds Prison Dog Program! Paws, her foster mother shares that Seven has excellent house manners since graduating from the program. WOOFS!

Ruff, Seven was timid but learned to adjust to a structured regimen and trust her new family.

Barkingly, Seven likes to relax and take naps while her foster mom is working. Ruffs.

Woofs, Seven is a very smart girl, knows basic commands, always pays attention to her humans, and learns new words/phrases quickly. She loves pawlaying with her toys, especially soft toys with squeakers and tennis balls, pawlaying fetch, hide-and-seek, and tug-of-war. Outside, she likes following her nose exploring the yard chasing squirrels and rabbits. She would be happiest and do best in a fenced yard.

Paws, Sevens likes playing with other dogs especially if they like running and exploring. She doesn't like pawlaying too rough. If another dog pawlaying too rough, she will opt to lay at your feet and enjoy the sunshine. Click here and here to see her pawlaying!

Seven likes going for 1-1.5 mile walk every morning and evening. She is making great progress with her leash manners. Woofs, she car rides too.

Paws, Seven warms up to women fairly quickly. Men need to give her a few minutes to warm up letting her say "hello" when she's ready!

Seven would do best with an experienced dog human who understands she needs time to adjust to a new home and pay attention to her cues. She may resource guard when she is not yet comfortable in her new setting!

Seven is house- and crate-trained. She even enjoys spending time in her crate often choosing to nap in her crate during the afternoon. She is content to sleep through the night in her crate but would prefer being in bed with you. Paws, in the morning she loves greeting her human with kisses and lovin's!
