WOOF! Barks! I am pawleased to meet a volunteer who works with "Lab Lady" at Lab Rescue this week. Quite a nice lady! She brought by a pawsomely incredibly mostest beautiful senior Black Labrador Retriever, Maya, who is looking for her "Forever Home!" At 14-years-old, she is so p-u-r-t-y! Oh. sorry, I said that already! She is looking for her "Forever Home"  in a rural or suburban single-family home with limited stairs so she can get around easily!

WOOF! Maya learned that there are pawlenty of humans at home right now so she wanted to introduce herself! She knows she will be the pawfect companion for some humans!

Maya is a cherished member of the most honorable society of the Senior Lab Community! Paws, she will be 15-years-old next month and still as adorable as she can be! BARKS!

Being a senior, Miss Maya has learned a few pawsome things, barks-which I will have to learn too.....woof- like knowing she can get snacks when the humans open the refrigerator! She knows mini-humans who know how to open the refrigerator are the bestest of buddies!

Barks, Maya would love to have humans are home more often than not so they can spend a lot of time together!

Maya's favorite activities are soaking up the rays and napping! She would love a human who would share these activities!

Paws, beautiful Miss Maya is house-trained but, due to her age, she does need to be let out more frequently pawssibly every 3-4 hours. She hears mostly with her heart these days and knows a few hand signals. She limps some and is stiff when walking but is familiar with leash walks.

Barks and woofs, Maya is good with other dogs, cats - mostly ignoring them, and mini-humans.

WOOFS! Maya's idea of a pawfect day is joining you for a short daily walk or two, or even three, and napping at your feet and sleeping by your bed at night! Humans looking to add more smile-time to your life, a devoted companion, Maya would be the pawfect addition to your home!
