Woofs! Happy Friday my fine furrends! Do you have a fun weekend pawlanned? Barkingly, I think your weekend would be much more fun if you have a dog to join you in whatever you are doing... barks, and not just any dog, a Black Labrador Retriever would be best! I know they are the greatest dogs on the pawlanet... especially since I am one! Woofs!

My friend "Lab Lady" from Lab Rescue has brought by a fella named King who is looking for his "Forever Home!" with humans to love who will love him too. He is looking for his home in a rural or suburban single-family house or townhouse. He doesn't not have a fence requirement. Barkingly, he wants to be your one-and-only-dog-that-is! Woof.

Woofing, King is an easy-going fella who has been a pawsitively delightful houseguest at his foster's home. He is loved by everyone who gets the pawleasure of meeting him. He is most happiest when he can be with his humans.

King is a good companion who enjoys going for car rides and getting treats at banks and pharmacies! He believes outings are pawsitively grand, even going for a dip in the creek. Barks, he enjoys walks and is gentle on the leash. He likes dogs he's met on walks, just doesn't want to live with them. Naps and relaxing on the couch are a favorite too.

Barkings, he is a huge fan of stuffies but his favorite toy is a football Kong which he carries everywhere even to go do his business.
Paws, King can be trusted to go out to do his business and comes right back for his treats! He can be trusted in the home too, as long as food temptations are well out of reach! Barks, sounds like me and Abby!

He is a pawsome communicator as he will let you know when his water bowl is empty and when he needs to step out to do his business.

King enjoys helping his foster mom clean house by licking up socks and giving them to her!

King is pawsitively a gentle fella. He prefers a gentle, quiet, environment. He is friendly and calm when meeting humans but he takes his time getting to know each person and likes them to do the same. He prefers humans to use a gentle, quiet approach giving  him time to roll over for a belly rub or two. Loud noises and sudden approaches can startle him.

Barks, King is a big cuddle bug and will seek out affection. He likes his back being scratched, but not ear cleaning or fussing around with his feet. He does not like rough-housing scratch sessions and will withdraw when he feels uncomfortable.

Paws, King has starred in a few videos to help with his adoption:

Army Crawl

Checking out the Roomba Vacuum

Woofs, King is a delightful companion and looks forward to finding his forever family.
