Simon is a two-year-old, 43 lbs., American Staffordshire/Terrier mix, who is a loving, goofy, special boy!! He has been hanging out at the Washington Humane Society, having fun and making everyone laugh, but he is ready to find his forever home!
Simon was removed from a yard as a young dog due to poor living conditions. He was born with minor deformities to both front legs which haven't slowed him down one bit!
Simon is active and loves to play, but he's not able to go on long walks or hikes. Simon can climb stairs and enjoys short walks around the block – he especially loves riding in his stroller!
Although Simon does well meeting new dogs when he is out-and-about, he would probably do best as an only dog with a fenced yard for him to romp at his own pace.
Interested in dog adoption and meeting Simon? You can meet him at the Washington Humane Society's Georgia Avenue Adoption Center, 7319 Georgia Avenue, NW, Washington DC, 20012, (202) 723-5730 or visit Washington Humane Society.
