Friday's Friend! Dog Adoption, Lab Rescue of L.R.C.P., Inc.

Happy FRIDAY!!!! My friend "The Lab Lady" brought me a great guy to introduce to you this week. Meet Benny, a 70 lbs., 10 year old Chocolate Labrador Retreiver. Though he would be great with anyone has his human, if you're older, he's could be perfect for you!

Benny is a happy and peppy gentleman from a rural setting so he wouldn't do well in a townhouse, apt/condo, etc. Needs quiet setting with someone home more than not (A placement that does not meet these requirements must be approved in advance by their intake coordinator).

Though he may have some grey accents on his face, this doesn't mean he's not into playing, quite the opposite - Benny lives to play, to please and to just be with his humans. He loves going outside for some retrieving with the tennis ball, he's an awesome runner, loves the Chuck-It, and brings the ball right back. He would play forever! If the kiddie-pool is set up, he will wade through that a few times and occasionally lay down in it! And, he has a silly side that just adds to the fun of an older dog!

Benny arrived as a foster in a home with another resident senior dog and settled in just fine- so he does well with other dogs but we have no cat or children history. He's approved for children ages 10 and up.

Benny has some arthritis so it'd be best for his new home to have few stairs. When he eats he needs an elevated food dish system that comes with him.
