Friday's Friend! Dog Adoption, Operation Paws for Homes

WOW!!  I have friends from all paws of life, every dog breed that I can think of, at least that's what I thought, until my pawtners at Operation Paws for Homes introduced me to Sampson aka Donovan. This is one incredible dog.

If you like big dogs, Sampson is the guy for you!! WOOF!!  He is a Cane Corso Mastiff, all 80 lbs. of him!!  This guys loves to snuggle, give doggie kisses and can still can playful when you grab the toys!!  RUFF!!!

Samson aka Donovan's give brown goofy eyes and j umbo head will bring a smile to your face every time you see him.

Aside from his sweet disposition, Samson is smart as he knows basic commands like sit, paw, comes when you call his name.  He is potty trained and crate trained, although he has been known to escape from metal crates. Plastic crates recommended for this guy!!  All he wants to do is please his human so training him is a breeze.

Samson gets along well with other dogs, is gentle with cats and children. However, he would do better in a home with older kids as he is not aware of how big he is and knocks the kids over some times!!  WOOF!!!

Samson is a great dog and would do well in any family situation as long as you are prepared to make him a full member of your family! However, he would thrive in a home with kids, another dog, and does not want to be left alone for 8 hours per day.
