Friday's Friend: Dog Adoption, Operation Paws for Homes

HAPPY FRIDAY!!! WOOF!! Barkingly pawsome it's the weekend!  And, what better way to better the time, than to make an addition to your family through dog adoption with Operation Paws for Homes.

Please meet playful Portia, a sweet, energetic, 50lb, female, 3 1/2 year old, American Staffordshire Terrier dog.

This young girl is learning what it means to be part of a family while staying with her foster parents. Portia currently lives with a cat and a small chihuahua mix. WOOF!  She's got her paws full!

Portia is crate trained and house trained. She is very eager to please. In the short time she's lived with her foster, she learned basic commands of 'sit' and 'leave-it!' These have become very important commands since chasing a ball in the backyard is Portia's favorite activity!

Portia is up to date on all vaccinations, microchipped, and neutered.  She is fostered in Middle River Md.

If you would like to meet Portia, please complete an online application at Operation Paws for Homes- Adopters.
