Friday's Friend! Cat Adoption, PetConnect Rescue

I am barkingly pawleased to catch up with my friend "Cat Lady" with PetConnect Rescue this week. She has been a pawsome friend to many cats and kittens along life's way. She and the other volunteers do such a pawsome job helping these sweet cats to find "Forever Homes!"

This week, "Cat Lady" brought by three cats nicknamed "Woodpile Kittens" for you to meet!

Meet Hickory!

Cat Adoption
"Hickory"
(C) PetConnect Rescue
Hickory, along with his littermates, were found in a woodpile in Loudoun County, VA!

Hickory is an outgoing and friendly character with his foster parents.  He likes to sit in their lap and be petted!  MEOWs!!

Hickory may be a bit shy meeting humans at first but he warms up with a little attention- then he likes nothing more than to sit in your lap while you stroke his pawsomely handsome fur coat!

Hickory loves to romp with his siblings.  Meowingly, he loves to play with his feather toy too!

Hickory would do best being adopted with a littermate or with another young kitten.

Meet Maple!

Cat Adoption
"Maple!"

Maple is a little shy at first too. Once he warms up through, he is friendly and enjoys playing with cat toys!

Maple likes to romp with his siblings!

Meowsingly, Maple would do best being adopted with a littermate or with another young kitten.

Meet Walnut!

Cat Adoption
"Walnut!"
(C) PetConnect Rescue
Walnut has a strong personality! He loves being petted and playing with cat toys too!

Walnut is initially shy with new humans but warms up and will meow for more attention!

Walnut will do best being adopted with his littermates or another young kitten!

Hickory, Maple, and Walnut are up-to-date on age appropriate vetting and have gentlemanly litterbox manners.

A note from our friends at PetConnect Rescue! Cats adopted through PetConnect Rescue must be indoor only, and may not be declawed (unless already declawed at the time of rescue).

The adoption fee for these kittens is $135 each, which helps with the cost of routine vet care. The fee DOES NOT INCLUDE spay/neuter if the kitten is not already completed. If the kitten(s) you are adopting is not already spayed/neutered, you will be required to sign a contract legally obligating you to have the animal altered. A $100 spay/neuter deposit is collected to help ensure that the procedure gets done in a timely manner.

Meows, the first step in approving adoption applicants is to complete a vet check. Vetting of current and past pets in important so PetConnect Rescue will be speaking with the Veterinarians(s) listed on your application to ensure that your current and previous pet(s) are kept up to date on vaccines (including rabies), spayed or neutered and examined annually by your vet.
