WOOF! My friend the "Great Dane Dame" of the Mid-Atlantic Great Dane Rescue League stopped by this week with a beautiful 1-1/2-year-old female Great Dane named "Kandi" for you to meet! She is looking for a "Forever Home" and humans to love! WOOF!

Kandi is a sweet, inquisitive and energetic girl. She pawsitively loves zooming around the yard and playing catch! WOOF! Barks, she enjoys chewing on bones too! She will be your bestest friend ever if you give her belly rubs and chin scratches.

Kandi loves to hang out with her humans and follow them around the house! She is good with strangers and is excited to greet them.

Kandi is great in her crate, she just needs a little incentive like peanut butter in a Kong or bacon treats and the like! Barks.

Barks, when her humans are eating, Kandi will typically sit in the family room and watch. She is a bit of a counter-surfer when she thinks the humans aren't watching! Barks, her foster mother is working on this with her!

Paws, Kandi was not trained very well in her previous home so she will have a training addendum with her adoption to ensure she develops into the most pawsome dog she can be!

Kandi enjoys going for walks with her foster. Barkingly, she doesn't do very well on a leash so her foster mom is working on this with her! Barks. She is beginning to learn not to pull!

DogKandi will only be considered for a seasoned dog owner. She is not a big barker, but will alert you to another dog walking outside!

WOOF! Kandi did great on her first trip to the Veterinarian. The Veterinarian remarked how good it was to meet a Great Dane who was not timid or anxious! Though she was interested in the other dogs, she greeted them politely.

Kandi is a sweetheart, friendly, and affectionate girl who will be a pawsome companion after proper training!

Kandi was living with an older Labrador and a cat. She may do well with cats. She is recommended for mini-humans ages 12 and older.
