Friday's Friend! Dog Adoption, Lab Rescue

Black Labrador Retriever Dog Adoption

Woofs! Happy Friday! In my humble opinion, if you don't fall in love with that face, or if it doesn't make you smile and want to adopt him, or pawssibly another dog from Lab Rescue, I don't know what to say. That happy jovial face made me smile the second I saw him! Meet Rudy!

Black Labrador Retriever Dog Adoption
Rudy is looking for his "Forever Home!" in a single-family house, in a rural or suburban setting, with a physical fence. He will have a Training Addendum with his adoption. Barkingly, Rudy will receive ongoing support from his trainer via phone or Zoom, or in-person if located nearby. WOOFS!

Another cool point, four paws full of thanks to a generous donor who wants every Labrador Retreiver to have a home of their own, the adoption fee for Rudy is $200!

WOOFS! Rudy is one high-energy youngster! He gets along with other dogs. His ideal "Forever Home!" will have another high-energy dog buddy who likes to play hard. Barkings, he needs room to run and stretch his legs so a big fenced yard is a must.

Paws, Rudy is potty-trained. He is not quite ready for full house privileges as he still likes to sometimes chew things when unsupervised. He is working on impulse control and waiting to do things like going through doors!

Rudy has no idea how pawsomely big he is! A home without mini-humans, or those older than age 15, would be best.

His leash walking is a work in progress! Barkingly, he is showing improvement.

Barkings, Rudy is pawracticing not jumping on humans, and not being mouthy.

He enjoys going on hikes and visiting SniffSpots. He pawsitively loves his enrichment toys and food puzzles.

Barkinglys, Rudy's ideal human family would be two adults to continue pawsitive reinforcement training so will continue building on skills he is learning. Paws, they will enjoy exercise and spending time outdoors!

Rudy is good with other dogs. He has no history with cats. Paws, he is good with mini-humans ages 15 and older.
