My friends at the Washington Humane Society brought by a cool black cat for me to introduce to you!

Meet Portia!

Portia is a four-year-old, nine lbs., domestic shorthair cat who lost her home when her human fell ill and could not take care of her!

Portia loves to be near humans and enjoys chatting about her day with you. She isn't a big fan of sitting in laps, but loves napping on keyboards or sitting right near you so that she can get all the pets!!

This loving girl, is also a hairstylist- Portia would be happy to give you a kitty bath and help out with your hairdo. A perfect cat-do every time!

An independent girl who loves a great window to sit and stare out of while you spend your day at work or running errands.

Portia is part of the WHS Hidden Gem Program which means her adoption fee is waived!

Interested in meeting Portia and learning about cat adoption? You can meet her at the Washington Humane Society's Georgia Avenue Adoption Center located at 7319 Georgia Avenue, NW, Washington, D.C., 202-723-5730 or visit Washington Humane Society.
