Daylight Savings Time: Spring Forward!

Clocks
(C) Storyblocks, Used by Permission

WOOF! Once again, as I bark loud and happy, it's time to set our clocks to Daylight Savings Time. For me, this means my human will have more daylight to walk me at the end of the day which will be pawsitively pawsome. He likes to walk me in daylight as opposed to the dark so he can see any critters hopefully before I do- yeah right- but, anyway, he tries. Eventually, as the days get longer, he will be able to walk me early morning and late day. I have him wrapped around my paw!

The easiest way to remember how to set your clocks is the simple poem I've heard my human say repeatedly, "Spring Forward, Fall Back!" Barkingly, on the Saturday before the time is to change at 2 a.m. on Sunday, since he isn't going to get up at 2 a.m., he begins changing the clocks not used as much during the day especially the alarm clock in the bedroom. At the end of the day, he will make sure the remaining clocks are changed. This method seems to make the adjustment of losing an hour a bit easier too.

BARKS!

"SPRING FORWARD, FALL BACK!"

Set your clocks 1 hour ahead tonight before going to bed.
