Happy Friday! My pawsome friend "Great Dane Dame" from the Mid-Atlantic Great Dane Rescue League brought by a pawsome fella for you to meet! MOOSE! He is a 2-year-old Merle Great Dane with natural ears. He lost his home because the humans could not afford to care for him. He has been with Mid-Atlantic Great Dane Rescue for 4 days and is busy learning to be a dog! WOOF!

Moose barks at strangers but is good when meeting them. He is a pawsomely friendly fella who is food-motivated and responsive ti basic commands. He knows "sit" and "stay" and is learning "down." He needs some work on his leash manners!

Moose has met cats at the property where he is currently staying and has shown no interest in them! WOOF!  He has lived with another dog but was excited when he saw another dog while on a leash.

Barkingly, Moose is a young fella who does need some outlet for his energy, he isn't a high energy guy. Just has the energy of a young dog! With a bit of work, he will make a pawsome companion!

WOOFs! He is pawsomely happy to play by his current humans side while he is working at home all day!

The home where Moose is staying cannot keep him, so Moose needs a foster home so he will not have to stay at a kennel.  If you would like to learn more about becoming a foster, pawlease visit

Unable to adopt? Barkingly, how about supporting Moose financially? Donations will assist with his care. Any extra funds will be used to assist other dogs at Mid-Atlantic Great Dane Rescue League.  Interested, please donate HERE!
