Barks and Paws: I received a the book, "Gobi A Little Dog With a Big Heart" by Dion Leonard from Thomas Nelson Publishers to review, paw about, and let humans know my thoughts! I have not been paid, have no use for human money, nor given any treats or food to persuade my thoughts on this product.  WOOF!

Woof, I love reading books which share stories about the pawsomeness of the human and dog bond. This pawnderful story is for young mini-humans ages 4-8, a colorful picture book, which shares the story of a young dog who is rescued in the desert by a human running a competitive race. WOOF! A pawsome aspect of this book is it is family-friendly which means we can share with our readers.

BARKS! Gobi is a small scrappy rag-a-muffin kinda dog who befriends an athletic man as he prepares to run one of the hardest courses in his racing endeavors.

WOOF! Dion Leonard, a 42-year-old Australian, lives in Edinburgh, Scotland with his wife Lucja. Dion has not only completed but competed in some of the world’s toughest ultra marathons across the planet’s most inhospitable landscapes! Paws, including running across the brutal Moroccan Sahara Desert twice in the 250km Marathon Des Sables and twice across South Africa's Kalahari Desert in a 250km. His latest 250km race across the Gobi Desert in China turned out to be a completely different race where he fell in love with a stray dog, later named Gobi, that followed him during the week and who would change both of their lives forever!

Who rescued "who?" That's for you to decide when reading this pawsome picture book.
