Friday's Friend: Cat Adoption, PetConnect Rescue

With more snowstorms in the forecast for this weekend, and we'll probably have more over the month of February, cat adoption is an excellent remedy for those cold snowy days!

My friend Cat Lady from PetConnect Rescue brought me a cat to introduce to you today! Meet Licorice-

This cool cat is the last of his siblings to get adopted- somehow he's been overlooked at the shelter.   Can you believe it?  He is so cool!!  Look at that great black fur- which, to me, gives him that royal, majestic look that ONLY black animals can give- I should know, as a black dog!

Licorice loves to play, loves attention from anyone and everyone- just loves everything!!

He knows how to use the litterbox and he's microchipped!

A healthy cat, up-to-date on my shots and tested negative for leukemia and FIV!

Licorice would love a friend to play with me! Just remember: Black is the new black! And black licorice is good for you! WOOF!!!!!!!!  I can't remember the last time I saw such a strikingly barkingly black cat- a cool dude!
