WOOF!!! Happy Friday!  My friend "Lab Lady" came for a visit this week and among the hundreds of dogs surrounding this young lady-dog lover, was a great and cool dog named Empire!!

Empire is a tall, long, lean, 8 year old black neutered male. The cool strong name fits this guy.  He knows basic commands, "sit", "down," and "come."   He pulls hard on a leash but does good with an Easy Walk harness.

Empire enjoys sleeping in his foster mom's bedroom and likes to snooze in the sun during the day. He prefers soft place to rest, loves to snuggle and giving a "Lablean" so you'll scratch back! He isn't big on retrieving, will go see what you tossed but doesn't always bring it back.

He has nice house manners, is very friendly to any new person he meets and has a strong curiosity in new places.

Empire will be a wonderful companion for someone who is home more than not and would appreciate a couch potato who thoroughly enjoys scratching his chin and ear and giving belly rubs.

A home with few stairs would be ideal too!

Empire is up to date on vaccines. Empire has Hyperthyroidism which is easily controlled with relatively low cost medicine.

If you would like to meet this cool dog, Empire, and learn about dog adoption, please visit Lab Rescue!
