Friday's Friend: Dog Adoption, Washington Humane Society

From the Washington Humane Society this week, I would like you to meet Thelma!!!  WOOF!!!!!  She is a one-year-old, 35 lbs., American Staffordshire Terrier mix.  She lost her home when her human's landlord said dogs were not allowed in the residence!  How rude!  WOOF!!! So, she's looking for a special human and "Forever Home" to enjoy life.

Now, from what I hear, if Thelma was born in the seventies she would have been a jazzercise queen!

An active girl, she loves to play so an exercise that provides fun AND helps her burn off some energy is her favorite thing.

Thelma is well behaved and knows how to keep herself entertained when she is alone, but she loves time with friends! Dog friends, human friends (even kids!) – anyone who is down to play and snuggle will be bestowed the title of “bestie” by Thelma.

If you would like to meet Thelma, please visit the Washington Humane Society's New York Avenue Adoption Center, 1201 New York Avenue, NE, Washington, D.C., 202-576-6664 or visit Washington Humane Society!
