Friday's Friend: Dog Adoption, Lab Rescue of L.R.C.P., Inc.

WOOF!! WOOF!!! arf?  My friend "Lab Lady" is always up to something- am not always sure what that something is, but she is.  This week, she brought a dog that is not a lab for me to introduce to you!  A bit confused, I look at her with an arf?  She WOOF'd back. That was interesting-

This character of a lady, the dog- not "Lab Lady," is an 18 month old possibly a boxer-shepherd mix but she thinks she is a Lab! Please don't tell her otherwise- we're a special class of dogs, you know!! WOOF!!!!!!  Please meet Yayi-

A sweet and loving dog who was brought in with a Labrador Retriever which the rescue that they were bonded.  Within a few weeks, they determined they'd do better apart!! WOOF!!!

Yayi is an excellent leash-walker and such a lady!! She looks to her human you for cues and likes to meet and be around humans. She loves to seek attention from humans.  She loves children and is very good with them as she's come from a home with a child as young as 5.

She does good around the males dogs, as long as it's off leash, but not so good around the female dogs as she was to be the Queen!  She is a true sweetheart and will melt your heart when you met her.

Yayi is house trained and learn commands well to correction if you divert her attention.

This beautiful girl is approved for children ages 5 and older. She has no experience with cats.

Yayi is up to date on vaccines, is Heartworm negative, Lyme positive and is being treated by Lab Rescue.
