Friday's Friend! Dog Adoption, PetConnect Rescue

"Nora"
(C) PetConnect Rescue
My friend "Big Bruno" is always up to something good- especially when it comes to dogs!  He loves all of us, big or small or medium- he loves us!

"Big Bruno" brought his friend, "Nora" by for you to meet.  He asked if he could share with you about his pawsome friend:

"What is a resilient dog? A resilient dog is one who lived 9+ years outdoors on a chain, got infected with Heartworm, and has a recurring cherry eye and is strong as ever. A resilient dog is a dog who, through all of that, is the sweetest, human loving dog anyone could want to meet. Nora is that resilient dog and she is hoping for a change of luck. Nora would like to finally become the beloved member of the family that she deserves to be. Nora holds no grudges, she
appreciates a warm, fluffy bed, regular meals and an endless pile of dog toys. In return, Nora will teach you what it is to forgive and forget the things outside of our control and move forward positively. She may be about 10 years old, but she is living life like a new born puppy. Nora is so perfectly behaved in the house, loves and respects other dogs and cats and is house trained already. Nora is about 20 lbs. and we think she is a terrier type mix. Nora has been treated for Heartworm and now has some coughing when she gets very excited, so a calm household is best for her. Nora would love to live out her years snoring on her dog bed and just finally being part of a family. If you have ever dreamed of being that special angel who adopts a senior(ish) dog and spoils them rotten- pick Nora. She is so deserving of that kind of unconditional love. Please don’t let her cherry eye deter you, it is more cosmetic than anything else. Pick Nora for her sweetness and gratitude. Pick Nora for her loyalty and affection. Be that special angel she has been waiting for her whole life. Nora is spayed, up to date on vaccinations and preventatives and eager to find a family to love!
