Friday's Friend! Dog Adoption, Mid-Atlantic Great Dane Rescue League

Cody. A magnificent 5-year-old handsome Merle Great Dane stopped by my dog house this week to pay me a visit.  He is looking for a "Forever Home" and some humans to love and wants to meet you!  Meet Cody!

Cody is adjusting well to his new life in his foster home. He is looking forward to the day he finds a "Forever Home" of his own!  WOOF!!

Are you looking for a Great Dane who enjoys a quiet home, is low energy and would be happy in a low activity home?  Cody is looking for just that!  He likes the quiet life! Barkingly, he loves his crate and will go in whenever the door is open. He likes to go in when his humans are at work too!  BARK!

Cody enjoys going on car rides as long as he has a comfy place to hang out!

He enjoys walks and does well on a "Gentle Leader!" Barkingly, Cody gets a bit excited and barks when he sees other dogs but this can be adjusted through training!  WOOFs!!

He is great on car rides (as long as he has a comfortable bed).  Barkingly, he isn't much on going to the local dog store or pet store or the like as they tend to make him a bit nervous so he whines.

Cody does well with other dogs and has gotten along great with his foster brother. He uses his polite manners when meeting strangers, including new dog walkers.

Cody does exhibit some mild guarding of his prized high-valued toys and bones around other dogs but only with a light growling. WOOF.

Cody is a very healthy fella! He likes to eat his meals on a regular basis and has his "moments" outside on a regular basis. He just loves to be at home laying on his bed and being a pawsomely relaxed homebody! Too much fun! WOOFS!!!!
