“Arf? Bark. Growl! Woof. I see lights in every color, trees decorated with lights and barkzillion types of ornaments, yards full of decorations with these wild inflatables of nearly everything imaginable! WOW! I’m loving Christmas. It’s so bright, cheery, and exciting!”

“Woof, Abby, I’m glad you are enjoying the festivities of the season. It can be quite an exciting time.”

“Meows, yes, Abby and Noah, this season is full of color, light, glitter, fun decorations, and even some presents! I can’t wait to find out what Santa Claus brings me this year. Paws, I have been the bestestest cat ever, as always you know, so I think Santa will bring me a lot of loot.”

“Arf?! I’m a little concerned, Noah and Samson. It seems that I’ve gotten into a lot of trouble this year. I mean, I’m a young puppy and I like to explore, chew, and taste things, every single thing that I can put into my mouth, including Dad’s headphones, and I have gotten into a whole lot of trouble but it wasn’t on purpose. Woofs, I’m still concerned. Will Santa visit me and bring me presents?”

“HISS! HISS! You dear Abby will get all coal this year! Every present you open… will be coal! HISS!”

“WOOF! Paws, Samson, that’s not nice. Abby, I think Santa Claus will take your youthful spirit and vibes into consideration. After all, the intent of your heart wasn’t to be mean or trouble. Anyways, all these decorations, parties, gifts, and stuff isn’t really what Christmas is all about.”

“Purrs, purringly true! I apawlopogize Abby- it was all in fun! We are really blessed when we realize that Noah, thank you for mentioning.”

“What do you mean, barks, Noah?”

“Barks, Christmas is a very special sacred day! It is the birthday of Jesus Christ which happened a little more than two thousand years ago.”

“WOW! Noah, He must be really old by now?!”

“Barks! WOOFS! Abby, we are to be respectful of Jesus Christ! It’s a holy time of celebration which is told in the Bible.”

“Meows, Abby, the Bible is God’s Word. It is the inerrant truth of God. We, purrs, believe in all of it. God teaches us what He wants us to do and how to live from it. Meow. Noah, would you share the Christmas Story with us?”

“WOOFS! Yes, I would be more than pawsomely happy to do so:

8 That night, in a field near Bethlehem, shepherds were watching over their flocks.
9 Suddenly, an angel of the Lord appeared in radiant splendor before them,
lighting up the field with the blazing glory of God, and the shepherds were terrified!
10 But the angel reassured them, saying,
'Don’t be afraid, for I have come to bring you good news, the most joyous news
the world has ever heard! And it is for everyone everywhere!
11 For today in Bethlehem a rescuer was born for you. He is the Lord Yahweh, the Messiah.
12 You will recognize him by this miraculous sign:
You will find a baby wrapped in strips of cloth and lying in the feeding trough!'
13 Then all at once in the night sky, a vast number of glorious angels appeared,
the very armies of heaven! And they all praised God, singing:
14 'Glory to God in the highest realms of heaven!
For there is peace and a good hope given to the sons of men.'

- Luke 2:8-14, The Passion Translation

Jesus was born to bring humans the Good News of the Gospel. Barkingly, they can be forgiven of their sins and have eternal life in heaven if they ask Him for forgiveness.”

“Meows, purringly, Abby, if anyone wants to know more about Jesus forgiving them, the Bible, God, Salvation, and God’s Plan of Salvation, pawlease take time to visit Peace With God.”
