I got an email from my friends at the The Washington Humane Society this week about a dog looking for a "Forever Friend" and "Forever Home."

Allow me to introduce you to Lacey!
Rain, snow, or sunshine – whatever the weather, Lacey’s ready for a run! Lacey first came to the Washington Humane Society on June 9, 2011. She was rescued by a WHS Officer after being left out in the heat for an extended period of time. She’s a five-year-old terrier, American Staffordshire mix, and her favorite activity at WHS is going on People and Animal Cardio Klub (PACK) runs.
Despite her tough time, Lacey simply loves people, especially kids, and other dogs her size. Come meet her at the Georgia Avenue Adoption Center today – 202-723-5730 or visit The Washington Humane Society.
Thank you to the Washington Humane Society for the information about Lacey!
