WOOF!! Happy Friday!  I am looking forward to a pawsome weekend with my humans.  One blessing with dog adoption is a companion to spend the weekend with.  My human and I go for long walks, rides, and shopping- it's always so much fun!

My friend "Great Dane Dame" from the Mid-Atlantic Great Dane Rescue League has been busy caring for several Great Danes these days.  It is so funny to see her walking down the street in the middle of these huge dogs who are carrying her- WOOF!!

Meet Ranger! A 3-year-old Great Dane who has a lot of puppy energy to burn!  He is a very sweet fella with no aggression towards humans or other dogs!  He would love to have a "Forever Home" with another large dog who wouldn't mind playing!

Ranger loves being with his humans so he will follow you wherever you go. He will even stick his nose in the shower to make sure you are still there.  He has been known to help write his own bio by resting his drooling face on his fosters arm while she types!  WOOF! He prefers the couch over a dog bed and loves cuddling with you on it.  He rarely lets his foster humans more than a few feet away from him.

Ranger moves around the house fast and has a whip of a tail so he is learning to behave inside the house so he can quit making his foster human nervous!  WOOF!! BARK!!

It seems my buddy has a few quirks, which his foster mom is working with hum on, he is scared of newspapers being thrown on driveways and he barks at fireworks and ice makers. Well, we've all got stuff we don't like!  BARKS!  He gets impatient whenever food is involved- doesn't have food agression, just wants what anyone else is having!  WOOOOOOF!!

Ranger has LAD, Lack of Attention Deficit, which causes his to wiggle his way to be next to you should you be giving someone else too much attention.. and not him.  Barks! I might have that too!

Ranger hasn't been left home along very much so a crate with toys is recommended for those times when a human isn't home.

He knows a few of the basic commands but is still learning!- Barks- which is always pawsome to do.  He is a bit owner protective!

Ranger's puppy self requires mini-humans to be 12-years old and older.  He has no history with cats and is good with other dogs.

Ranger would be a great companion for an active older couple or family who will let him snuggle with him on the couch.

Interested in meeting Ranger and learning more about dog adoption?  Please complete the dog adoption application at Mid-Atlantic Great Dane Rescue League!  BARKS!  Tell the "Great Dane Dame" that Noah sent you!
