Friday's Friend - Washington Humane Society

Zoey and I get to start this week's Friday's Friends by introducing you to a cat from the Washington Humane Society.

We'd like you to meet Shannon!

Shannon was brought into the WHS Spay and Neuter Center as a stray on April 4, 2013 with a healing wound and a nasty cold. The WHS staff was able to treat him and he is now ready to find a "Forever Home!"

Shannon knows his name and will follow you around better than a dog! He will sit in your lap, keep you warm while you work, and he’ll keep you entertained with his superior toy-chasing abilities!

Shannon has a few dog-like qualities, but he’s not as interested in dogs though as he is with other cats.  Looking for a cat companion, Shannon may be the one for you.  He is waiting for you at the Spay and Neuter Center. Please contact dbays@washhumane.org to set up a meeting (1001 L Street, SE/ 202-608-1356), or visit Washington Humane Society for more information.
