Friday's Friend - Washington Humane Society

My friend at the Washington Humane Society introduced me to Abe- who is quite the intelligent dog- we had a great time debating the issues of the world and solving them all- you the saying "All I need to know, I learned from my dog!"- Abe and I are example of smart dogs!

Abe, the brainiac, is a two-year hound mix! (We hounds - got it!!)  Abe learns new commands in three days and, according to his foster mom, is very gifted at reading people!!

Abe came to the Washington Humane Society in March extremely emaciated, but he's now a healthy, happy, dog looking for a special family to love forever.

He’s gentle with children and tries to make friends with his cat siblings in foster care, despite their unfriendly catty nature.

“Despite everything that's happened to him, he still loves us. He's a very good dog,” says Abe’s foster mom Coreen.

If you would like more information or would like to meet Abe, please email Coreen at cpuetz@washhumane.org.
